With the increase of technology and devices we use comes an increased time sitting on that butt. 

Optimal health recquires movement.  If you are spending too much time rounded over a computer today's blog will get you moving!

If you are looking to get off that booty and get your steps in HIIT workouts are a great choice.  In HIIT  we do intervals of very intense cardio moves followed with short periods of rest.  In this rest time, you recover so that for the next cardio burst.  These leads to your body working harder during the burst- and it is scientifically proven to burn more fat than regular steady state cardio.  

Pilates is a great way to tone your body from the core and develop a lean flexible physique.

 

I am using Pilates-inspired moves with some kicks to pump up your body!  This workout is super challenging and meant to challenge advanced exercisers, so beginners beware!  I recommend doing this workout 2-3 times per week.  Any more than that may be too much, as these workouts can take the body a few days to recover from

I am all about balance in the body, and too much computer style posture may cause excess tightness in the hips and shoulders.  Plus after these HIIT sessions, you will want to lengthen those tired muscles.  

Treat yourself to a posture fixing total body stretching routine. Let’s build mobility and flexibility for better posture and well being. Its safe for all levels and you don’t need any equipment.

We'll be using mobility drills and pilates and yoga techniques to move your spine and find perfect body alignment for maximum relaxation and results.  Your body will thank you for this and you will feel taller, lighter and energized after.
